Honoring the Goddess Within
A Devotional Journey with Sekhmet
I have always needed an outlet for self‑expression as a spiritual being. I began as a child using music, prayer, poetry, and song, seeking a sense of completeness - a thread that would later deepen into my devotional relationship with Sekhmet. Today that expression often finds its own rhythm through automatic writing, words that move through me like breath until they land, whole and steady, on the page.
Prayer as Process
My work is not just a finished product. It is a record of how I feel my way through the world. As a spiritual coach and a devotee, I have found that creativity is the most direct language of the soul. Whether through the stroke of a brush or the cadence of a poem, my art is my most honest prayer.
The Breath and the Flame: A Journey with Sekhmet
Sekhmet: Honoring the Goddess Within is one culmination of this devotional current. It brings together the elements of my personal journey:
The Fine Art: Paintings from my Feast of Sekhmet gallery exhibition, created in deep communion with Her presence.
The Written Word: Poetry and prayers that emerged from the fire of transformation.
The Invitation: A window into the ways Sekhmet’s fierce compassion and steady guidance shape my personal renewal and my creativity.
A poem from the book:
Blind Faith
Goddess of the Sun.
She who makes me whole.
She who casts out my fears.
She who obliterates my shadow.
Broken and whole I stand before Thee. You provide all things.
“Give him what he wants; he will give you what you need.”
From the beginning to the end, You are with me and in me.
Holding my faithless faith, caressing my tears and fears.
To what end will You reveal Yourself, so that I may fully live.
The places You take me when I could not foresee -
My faith to shine the way;
My faith to pave the road;
My faith to reveal to others Your infinite wisdom and beauty.
Your gentle care for me, to all the hard lessons.
Allow me to feel the sanctuary of Your love and protection …
Even when I feel blind.

This devotional art book of Sekhmet‑centered poetry, prayer, and fine‑art is more than a collection of images or words. It is a sacred offering. It reflects how the Goddess moves within us to turn pain into power and process into peace. I offer these pages to all who feel called to Her fire. May you find a reflection of your own inner strength within them.
