Where the Body, Psyche, and Sacred Meet

A Bay Area Ritual Community for Embodied, Mythic, and Devotional Practice

People often find our circle after exploring somatic embodiment work, tantra and sacred sexuality circles, altered‑states ecstatic-ritual groups, queer spiritual communities, goddess‑centered circles, pagan traditions, or witchcraft communities.

They arrive still carrying an ache for something that has been missing.

What sets this circle apart is the way we hold two forms of knowing. We honor the rigor of study and scholarship, and we honor the immediacy of lived spiritual experience as a path of embodied spirituality. We treat sexuality as a form of devotion and the body as a source of spiritual intelligence. Myth is not metaphor here. It is a living force that meets the somatic and the sacred in real time.

Many people arrive with experience in ritual magic, Goddess devotion, polytheist practice or archetypal work. They are looking for a deeper and more embodied spiritual home. They want a place where the mythic and the somatic can belong together with coherence and long-term commitment. If you are seeking a community that is embodied rather than abstract, mythic rather than dogmatic, and grounded rather than performative, this may be your place.

For many, the work they have done in their bodies and their practices begins to find a sense of wholeness here.

Who We Are: An Embodied Ritual Community

We are a Bay Area ritual community centered on Sekhmet, the ancient Egyptian Goddess of fierce compassion, sovereignty, and transformative fire. Our work brings together somatic practice, mythic imagination, and devotional relationship with the Goddess. We are grounded in values of inclusive-affirmation, sex-positivity, and trauma-awareness.

Devotion and Belonging

A home for those seeking deep ritual, embodied-devotion, and long-term spiritual commitment.

Somatically Grounded

A trauma-aware community that honors the intelligence of the nervous system and the necessity of somatic safety.

Mythic and Embodied

A circle that works with myth, ritual, and embodied spiritual practice in a grounded and relational way.

Justice Aligned

A mixed-race, anti-racist, gender-expansive, queer-affirming community committed to inclusive spiritual belonging.

A Lineage Rooted in Sekhmet

A ritual lineage in relationship with the Goddess Sekhmet and the transformative power that She embodies.

How We Work with the Sacred

We honor two ways of knowing. We value the clarity that comes from study and the truth that comes from lived experience. Our practice weaves together:

Living Experience

Dreams, intuition, and embodied spiritual practice.

Somatic Practice

Breath, grounding, and the intelligence of the nervous system.

Archetypal Depth

Mythic psychology and transformative ritual containers.

Erotic Vitality

Sexuality and pleasure as an integral part of devotion.

Ancient Scholarship

Egyptian texts, temple inscriptions, and archaeological artifacts.

Creative Devotion

Art, ritual craft, breath, and movement.

A Moment of Recognition

For many people, the search has never been for something new. It has been for a community where the somatic, the erotic, the mythic, and the devotional can finally be welcomed as one living whole.

If this resonates, the next step to enter the circle is to read the welcome from within the Temple and get a sense of how we practice, who we are, and how our rituals unfold.
