Devotional Art

Art as spiritual practice

Through painting, sculpture, and mixed media, I offer works as devotion to the Goddess Sekhmet. Rooted in myth, ritual, and the cycles of nature, these creations explore archetypes of transformation, feminine strength, and sacred power. Each piece is a prayer in color and form, crafted as a pathway, inviting deeper connection with the Goddess.

An invitation. The galleries gathered here reflect my ongoing work and public showings: Feast of Sekhmet at Counterpulse, the Black Light Art Show at Studio 23, the Art of the African Diaspora at the Richmond Art Center and the Joyce Gordon Fine Arts Gallery, the Black Woman is God at the African American Art & Culture Complex, Sacred Blooms, and Honoring the Goddess Within (my book of devotional poetry). Each collection carries the energy of those communal thresholds. Each is an expression of what devotion looks like through my eyes and hands.
